I have had the privilege of knowing Stacey for more than 10 years.
I have had the privilege of knowing Stacey for more than 10 years. She has not only been my yoga teacher, but someone I aspire to be when I grow up :) My relationship with Stacey grew when I eagerly applied to the Yoga Teacher Training program at her Yoga Studio. Stacey is a well grounded and knowledgable person. There isn't something she doesn't know :) She is absolutely fascinating. I first started to learn that she was training to be a coach while taking her yoga classes consistently over the summer. During her dharma talks (the opening of a yoga class) Stacey was addressing a lot of what I was feeling and going through and it really resonated with me. I was in a place of feeling very unsatisfied and stuck in my daily routine and I wanted to learn how best to work towards a place where I could reach a more fulfilling and joyous life. I started my coaching and I couldn't he happier! I am learning new things about myself I never dreamed I was capable of and really utilizing all we discuss in our sessions on a daily basis! I have seen a tremendous change in how I view myself. I look forward to the rest of our sessions! Stacey is an amazing person to work with! On social media there are constantly stories and testimonials of people who lost a ton of weight, live a healthy lifestyle, and feel good about their body. I always envied those people. I thought living a healthy lifestyle where you automatically made good food and exercises choices just wasn't for me. I would always make "bad" choices and then beat myself up about it. I was constantly stressed about meals, snacks, and social gatherings. I always thought that I didn't have enough will power or motivation to be one of those success stories. I felt completely out of control of my own actions. Deep down I waned to be healthier and happier, but I didn't know where to start. About 3 months ago I started seeing Katelyn post on Facebook about becoming a health coach. I had heard the term "health coach" before, but never really understood what that meant. What I did know was Katelyn had been on a long journey herself and had successfully lost weight, became healthier, and seemed to be happier than ever. I didn't know much about her personal journey, but I thought if anyone might be able to help me... it would be her. I debated for about a week before I reached out. Reaching out and admitting to someone that I had a problem was really scary. Katelyn quickly put any of my fears or hesitations to rest. She explained that her job as a health coach was to walk me through figuring out what my triggers and road blocks were to help me reach my personal goals. This wasn't some cookie cutter diet like I've tried in the past (south beach, whole 30, weight watchers), this was 100% tailored to MY goals. Working with Katelyn I have learned that becoming a healthier version of myself is so much more than just changing my diet or exercising. I needed to really evaluate my life and my happiness to see where there might be areas that need to be fulfilled. I have learned that little hinges swing big doors (as Katelyn always says). I have been making small changes week by week and overall feel less stressed and more comfortable with myself. Although I know I have a long way to go, I feel so much more comfortable and confident having Katelyn in my corner.

My coaching from Mindi has been eye opening and amazing. I have gained so much energy from learning what the right foods are for me, and listening to my body! I enjoy exercise again now that I have the energy for it, and I’ve had a big positive change in attitude and stress levels. The fact that I’ve lost 20 pounds while gaining muscle is the cherry on the sundae! Mindi’s guidance and accountability are something I look forward to every week on our call, and the content I gain from each session is amazingly applicable to my everyday life. You should try something 10 times before you decide it's not for you - with this advice I have created and maintained healthy habits that I enjoy and look foward to each day. Thank you Mindi!
